How it works
Going Broke is a public countdown-to-broke clock tied to a crypto wallet. You give it a wallet to watch, a debt target in USD, and an optional email for alerts. The server watches that wallet on-chain, and every incoming deposit buys back time on the clock and pays the debt down. If no deposit arrives before the clock hits zero, it expires. Every clock gets its own shareable link, so you can drop it anywhere and let people keep you off broke.
It's non-custodial — Going Broke never holds your funds or keys; it only reads public activity for the address you provide. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana are supported, and the chain is auto-detected from the address. It's free to use, and it's built by Profullstack, Inc.
How much time a deposit buys
| Deposit (USD) | Buys back |
|---|---|
| under $10 | 1 hour |
| $10+ | 1 day |
| $1,000+ | 1 week |
| $10,000+ | 1 month |
Frequently asked questions
Who is Going Broke for?
Anyone who wants a public "pay me before the clock runs out" timer — creators taking crypto tips, fundraisers, accountability and streak goals, or just a fun debt-payoff dashboard.
Can I post an invoice on my clock?
Yes. The clock's owner can post public invoices on it — a title, an
optional USD amount and note, and a link to a payment request. The link is any
http(s) URL, so a
CoinPay pay page, a Stripe link, or
your own page all work. Anyone reading the clock sees the invoices and can pay one. Going
Broke doesn't settle the payment itself: if it lands in the watched wallet, the clock
counts it as a deposit like any other and buys back time.
What is "the network" the coupons are for?
Every deposit also mints a unique 50%-off coupon for one of the sites in the Profullstack network — properties operated by Profullstack, Inc. such as coinpayportal.com, crawlproof.com, and pairux.com.
What data do you collect?
Only what you enter: the public wallet address to watch, your debt target, and — if you provide one — an email address used solely to send deposit and expiry alerts. Going Broke doesn't set advertising cookies of its own. Questions or a security report: security@profullstack.com.
